Our Approach
We built Violin Parampara with a focus on discovery and respect for the tradition it documents, turning scattered knowledge into one accessible, living archive. We combined an alphabetical artist directory with intuitive search, generation filters, and rich profile pages. This allows music lovers, students, and researchers to explore violinists, trace lineages, and find luthiers and dealers with ease. Alongside the directory, events and blog sections keep the community informed and the archive continually growing, all within a warm, heritage-inspired experience.

Impact & Achievements
Violin Parampara gave the Indian violin community a home for its history, created as part of the Prof. H. V. Krishnamurthy centenary celebration in 2026. It replaced scattered, hard-to-find information with a single reference point, while keeping the archive open to growth through community contributions. Visitors can discover artists, follow musical journeys, and connect with the people behind the instrument, helping preserve the heritage for the next generation of learners and performers.
